Winter Warming DrinksPosted by Hay Brunsdon on February 11 2014.
If you’re planning a cosy get-together then be sure to nest down with our favourite Winter Warming Drinks. Perfect for nights in or cocktail making hen dos.
Here at Polestars, we’re firm believers that any beverage served from a tea pot makes the whole occasion slightly more homely. Warm tea cocktails with spiced rum are always a favourite, but let us not forget about these indulgent Winter Warming Drinks too. Remember: you can never have too many marshmallows, it’s never too early for eggnog and, most importantly, it’s fine for hens to count warm apple cider as one of their five a day!
Our favourite Winter Warming Drinks
Warm and Toasty
This frothy treat looks perfectly angelic, doesn’t it? When really beneath those unassuming wheels of orange and apple, and that perfectly innocent mass of whipped cream lies a rivulet of Bourbon nestled into lashings of hot apple cider and a dash of cranberry puree. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon to create an unusually sumptuous treat.
Nest of Eggnog
Next on our list of Winter Warming Drinks is the classic Eggnog. We find this is best served as a warm accompaniment to a Winter Life Drawing hen party. Relax in a stylish private venue with your best friends and a charming nude male model, whilst learning how to really appreciate (and sketch) the delicious model which stands before you. Making use of the on-site bar is always highly recommended too…
Boozy Hot Chocolate
This is our favourite way to greet our guests during a Girl’s Night In. Add a double shot of Amaretto to give your taste buds a delicious treat, but if you need more of a kick then opt for a Mexican Hot Chocolate – with a teeny pinch of chilli powder and a shot of Tequila, it’s sure to get the party started!
