When Camping Tip(i)s You Over The EdgePosted by Hay Brunsdon on June 8 2017.
When I think of camping I think of attending Cider Festivals in the West Country; charging about in the dance tent fuelled by poorly cooked sausages and that fermented nectar of the valleys before inevitably conking out on the hillside 50 metres from the unmade tent.
That kind of camping may or may not be suitable for everyone. For those girls that are more glam than eating cold spam out of a tin, then Glamping offers something more luxurious. The girl photographed below can be seen clutching her beloved bag of cosmetics whilst en route to an impromptu campout, when really, like most hens she’d probably prefer to head to the nearest luxurious yurt.
Why not trade in poorly assembled tents for beautifully decorated tipis and yurts, complete with a luxury campfire dinner cooked for you? Now we’re stepping into Spring you’ll be greeted with a Vintage afternoon tea. Your picnic table will be furnished with flutes of bubbly nestled between daffodil filled jam jars, amongst a hearty array of scones, jam and fresh clotted cream to complete the feel of Springtime luxury.
Trade in this …
Send the Bride-to-be on a scavenger hunt for treasures around the site, or even just play an old school game of Hide and Seek before our expert Glamper takes you foraging. Home-made Elderflower Martini anyone?
A great thing about this glamorous city escape is that, for the more hard-core hens, you can choose Glamping with a twist; our Woodland Survival Weekend sees both Hens and Stags venturing into the countryside in more extreme weather conditions.
We are currently offering a special offer of £300 per person, for two nights
A lovely testimonial from a recent Woodland Survival Weekend: “A great experience, fantastic organisation and the best man hasn’t stopped telling people about it! Thank you so much!”
