Teachers Wanted

Polestars, the UK’s most fabulous hen party provider are looking for teachers!  We teach a wide range of classes which you can find on our Hen Party page and we need friendly and approachable people with positive attitudes to join the polestars team. Experience is useful but not necessary as we can provide free training. We have very competitive rates of pay as almost all of our parties take place on Saturday afternoon. Therefore we would need you to be available on most weekends.

If you are a working dancer/actress or in fact any other discipline, we are happy for you to take time off for shows/jobs as long as you can manage and communicate this to us in a timely and professional way.

Dance Teachers

Teachers are needed for Pole dancing, Burlesque, Bollywood, Belly Dancing and Can-Can as well as fun styles like Dirty Dancing, Grease and 80’s. You must have a friendly and approachable manner and a positive attitude. Experience in the dance industry, especially teaching is useful but not necessary.

Chocolatiers and Cupcake Decorating Experts

It would be desirable if you have experience in teaching chocolate making/ cake decorating workshops or similar. Please also list any equipment you may currently have when applying.

Male and Female Life Models

Polestars are looking for male and female life models. You must be fit, happy and chatty for our 1-2 hour classes. All models must be comfortable posing nude in front of a group of the opposite sex and ideally have some hen/stag party experience.

Life Drawing and Art Tutors

Art tutors would be expected to direct the group with techniques and tips as well as keep the party spirit up with perfect hosting skills. Experience in life drawing and especially teaching is a bonus as the majority of groups will be first time artists.

Parkour

Teachers are needed to lead a 2 hour Parkour session for one of our parties, confident is a  must as you need to be able to teach beginners in the basics as well as try to challenge them on a final circuit to show off their skills. Knowledge of decent local spots and Parkour experience is desirable.

Makeup Artists

You need to be able to apply makeup to a fresh face, in a style they would choose. We would prefer you to be trained, chatty and positive and if you are able to supply your own “Look Book” it would be helpful.

Sushi Makers

Trained sushi rollers are desirable, you must be confident in teaching a group, be a positive person and happy to interact with the parties. You should be able to give the parties a history of sushi as well as detail the ingredients and why they are used. Some training can be given for this but you must have a certain amount of experience to apply.

Outdoor Experts

Shelter building; Fire lighting; Knife skills; Game & food preparation; Wood carving & whittling; Axe throwing; Water finding & purification; Making traps and game catching experience would be ideal. Free training would be provided if you don’t have all skills.
