Pole Dancing as an Olympic Sport

Who else loves the idea of Pole Dancing as an Olympic Sport? With 10 years of experience when it comes to running pole dancing parties, we’re very excited!

Pole Dancing as an Olympic Sport

We have a great respect for every Pole Dancer, especially for professional ones because they are great, hard-working athletes. Imagine pulling up your whole body on the pole with just one arm.

It doesn’t come as a surprise that after having several world championships, the World Pole Sport Federation is trying to introduce Pole Dancing to the Olympic World. In fact, more than 25 nations already compete at the Pole Dancing World Championships, which is remarkable for such a young sport!

Getting up on that pole tones your muscles in all body parts and you are able to burn around 250 calories in one session which is more than you would achieve in your average gym sessions!

Pole Dancing as an Olympic Sport – Try a Pole Party

Feeling confident and sexy is something that comes so naturally with pole dancing, so  book a Pole Dancing lesson for your hen or birthday party! Try your hand at one of the sexiest and most skilful dance styles around with a fabulous Polestars pole dancing hen party. You will learn spins, tricks and moves to be incorporated into a super sexy routine. This class is fantastic fun and great exercise; once you start spinning you won’t be able to stop!

What better way to make your hen night a memorable one than trying this increasingly popular art form, while having fun with friends in a relaxed environment. Sexy, exciting and great exercise; once you start spinning you won’t be able to stop!

What to wear at a Pole Dancing hen party

  • Heels – this dance requires the sexy swagger that only heels can give you!
  • Shorts – for the best results at gripping to the pole you really do need a bare leg. We suggest wearing shorts or leggings that can be rolled up, no skirts unless you don’t mind flashing your knickers!
  • Dress for comfort – it sounds strange because obviously you want to look sexy on the pole, but you also want to be able to move freely whilst spinning.
