Our Favourite Cocktails

We’ve asked around the office to find our favourite cocktails. Some are quite easy but a few are a little more extravagant but as equally delicious. Why don’t you try one our our go to cocktails and let us know what you think?

 

Mojito – Sandy

 

Mojito Cocktail drinks

   

 

Equipment

 

Muddler/Rolling Pin

Spoon

 

Ingredients

 

2 Parts White Rum

½ Fresh Lime (4 Wedges)

12 Mint Leaves & A Sprig of mint

2 Heaped spoons of caster sugar

Dash of Soda Water

Crushed Ice

 

Method

 

Put the four lime wedges into a glass, then add the sugar and squish everything together to release the lime juice.

 

Slap the mint leaves as it bruises them and releases the aroma. Rub the mint leaves around the rim of the glass and drop them in. Gently push the mint down into the lime juice.

 

Half fill the glass with crushed ice and pour in the rum. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

 

Top up with crushed ice, a splash of the soda water and garnish it with a sprig of mint.

 

 

Blue Lagoon – Steph

Strainer

Cocktail Shaker

 

Ingredients

 

2 Parts Vodka

1 Part Blue Curaçao

6 Parts Lemonade

Lemon Wedge

Cubes of Ice

 

Method

 

Fill glass with ice.

 

Add vodka and lemonade and stir.

 

Drizzle over Curaçao.

 

Garnish with Lemon.

 

 

Mint Julep – DrewCocktail Mint Julep drinks

 

Equipment

 

Chilled Glass

 

Ingredients

 

6 leaves of mint

3 Parts Bourbon

1 Teaspoon of Mint

Crushed Ice

 

Method

 

Add Mint and Sugar to glass.

 

Crush mint and sugar together.

 

Add crushed ice to fill.

 

Add Bourbon & stir.

 

Top with Crushed Ice.

 

 

Mosco Mule Moscow Mule Cocktail drinks– Chris

 

Ingredients

 

2 Parts Vodka

¼ Parts Lime

Ginger Beer to

Ice Cubes

Lime Wedge

 

Method

 

Add ice, vodka, Lime & stir.

 

Add ginger beer to top & stir.

 

Garnish with lime wedge.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lychee Martini – Ching

 

Lycheese Martini Cocktail drinks

 

Equipment

 

Cocktail Shaker

 

Ingredients

 

3 Parts Vodka

2 Parts Lychee Juice

Dash of Vermouth

Ice Cubes

Lychees

 

Method

 

Add Ice, vodka and lychee juice and vermouth to cocktail shaker.

 

Vigorously shake until shaker is cold to the touch.

 

Strain, pour into a glass and garnish with Lychees.

 

 

Espresso Martini – Heath

Espresso Martini Cocktail drinks

 

Equipment

 

Cocktail Shaker

 

Ingredients

 

2 Parts Vodka

1 Part Espresso

1 Part Coffee Liquor

3 Coffee Beans

Ice Cubes

 

Method

 

Add Ice, Vodka, Espresso and Coffee Liquor to cocktail shaker.

 

Vigorously shake until shaker is cold to the touch.

 

Strain, pour into a glass and garnish with coffee beans.
