Notting Hill Carnival Madness

Posted by Hay Brunsdon on June 8 2017.

Last weekend saw the Notting Hill Carnival madness descend upon the streets of London in a haze of barbecued jerk chicken smoke, lashings of carnival paint and streams of sunlit sequins parading past hundreds of thousands of revellers.

Kids Day was perfect for country bumpkins such as I who prefer skipping about in a colourful outfit taking in all of the sights without the worry of any unsavoury characters causing any drama. It doesn’t matter if you’re not remotely streetwise as even toddlers sporting soundproof headphones are busting out a few moves next to the sound systems.

From the parade to the parting of a Red (Stripe) Sea here were our favourite moments captured to inspire your hen fancy dress and party planning in general.

If the Notting Hill Carnival Madness has truly inspired you to plan a crazy Caribbean kick-back why not book a Bespoke Dance Party to groove to some Samba beats, or try to perfect that Twerk? Our Makeup Artists can even come along to your house, apartment or hotel to create the perfect carnivalesque look for your night out.
