London Town House
It’s easy to see why this beautiful Victorian House is regularly used for photo shoots, including some for The White Company and The Designers Guild. Its simply elegant decor and white walls are instantly calming, giving a sense of light and space hard to find in the capital. The house has its own lovely garden, as well as overlooking the famous Tooting Common, ideal for picnics and people watching. The living space of the house spans the full length of the property and opens two huge floor to ceiling wall panels to reveal the garden. At the end of the day, sink into the deepest bath you have ever seen, before retiring to the balcony with a glass of pinot. Very civilized.
Voltaire – Party Chalet, Dorset
This chalet style property has been finished in a modern style, but built in the frame of an eighteenth century farm house. The proportions are generous, with windows spanning the full length of the walls and plenty of exposed natural stone, emanating grace and elegance. Relax by the beautiful indoor pool – whether it shines or pelts down with rain, you can still get your bikini out. The house is six miles from the sea so can be reached by foot or more leisurely via a quick car journey.
