halloween cocktails - drinks

Slip into a cosy Bicardigan this Autumn and create our favourite Halloween cocktails. Perfect for haunted hen parties, spooky soirées and creepy cocktail making lessons, don your best fancy dress, complete with a home-made Gothic fascinator and mix up a few creepy cauldrons.

Our personal favourite are these Gruesome Grenadine Syringes.  Fill a beaker with crushed ice, 2 shots of vodka, and a splash of lemonade. Serve with a syringe of Grenadine for your guests to complete the drink themselves.

Halloween Cocktails; Spooky Spirits and Malevolent Mixers

When planning a Halloween party it’s easy to get carried away. You’ll want to string up metres of decorations, whilst juggling trays of intricately themed canapés whilst sorting out your outfit and generally turning into a bit of a monster – much like wedding planning, really.

To make life easier we recommend creating an absolute show-stopper of a cocktail with which to greet your guests, then treat them to bowls of punch throughout the rest of the night. That way you can spend time at your party actually mingling instead of mixing up Halloween cocktails all night.

For an unusually tasty treat create a Mummy Martini.  Fill Martini shaker with ice and and 2 shots of Blavod Black Vodka. In the Martini glass pour a few drops of dry vermouth. Shake then strain vodka into Martini glass and garnish with blue cheese stuffed black olives

If you don’t want to get tied up in cobwebs of spun sugar and  little liquorice spider’s legs and , why not make a scrumptious Pumpkin Pie Margarita? Rim two Martini glasses with the pumpkin pie spice and sugar. Combine 3 shots of vodka, 1 tsp of cream, 2 tbsp of maple syrup, ¼ tsp pumpkin spice, vanilla extract, and  2 tbsp pumpkin purée in a shaker filled with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into rimmed martini glasses. Enjoy!
