Glamping in StylePosted by Wilson Drew on June 7 2017.
Being at one with nature has not always been associated with glamour. Camping has connotations of back to basics survival, limited supplies and surviving through harsh weather. Of course this style of camping still exists but with the advent of Glamping, heating a tin of baked beans over a campfire is a thing of the past. It has all the essentials of luxury accommodations but without some of the key features. It isn’t an outdoor hotel, there are no plug sockets or central heating, bellboys or tarmac roads. Glamping is 100% luxury in 100% nature, with your camping experience will be sound tracked by birdsong and lit by campfire and starlight.
Glamping is an indulgent experience from start to finish. Gone are sleeping bags in favour of blow up beds, blankets and fluffy pillows. Not only are you surrounded by the beauty of nature, but it can also be sampled itself in bush craft cocktails and foraged meals. There may be opportunities to take a walk through the surrounding countryside and learn about the local wildlife. You might even be able to relax with a back to nature pampering session or in an onsite sauna. You’ll also be pleased to know the typical plastic tent is replaced by bell tents, tipis or yurts. This is as far away from a back to basics camping trip as possible.
This is a perfect event for those that love the ideals of camping, but with all the style of a fabulous girly getaway. It’s the perfect way for the girls to spend quality time together, learn new skills and make some fantastic memories. Just remember to wrap up warm!
