Everybody has heard how good a night out on ‘the toon’ is, which is why Newcastle is such an ideal spot as a hen party location. Of course there are the typical bars and clubs scattered all around town that are easy for you all to find, but at Polestars we have done some research to find a few slightly unusual haunts for you to visit during your time in Newcastle!
Cabaret
We are always bragging about how amazing our Burlesque dance hen parties are, and we love the fact that we are now offering them in Newcastle. Our two hour dance classes in Burlesque are an excellent start to any hen party. Our fully trained teacher will take you through the history of this cheeky dance and will progress onto teaching you your own sexy routine that you and your group can perform for each other. We also suggest dressing up for our parties (we offer some Burlesque items in our shop which will aid your outfit) and encourage carrying on the Burlesque theme all night, and what better way to do that than at Newcastle’s Boulevard Show (http://www.bourevardnewcastle.co.uk). This cabaret show boasts to be a mixture of Burlesque and Broadway, and is run by the fabulous Betty Legs Diamond. Your host for the night will be Miss Rory, the amazing 7ft wicked witted drag queen that will have you in stitches all night! The three floored show has various amazing bars and rooms, including VIP and Diamond VIP bars that are kept for private and large parties. This really is the perfect way to spend your Burlesque themed hen night.
Nightlife
Another amazing place we have found is the spooky Gotham Town Megapub. This is a large gothic pub, with a mixed cliental. This will run perfectly with a Polestars Thriller hen party, where you will learn the dance routine of Michael Jackson’s famous hit single. Again, we strongly suggest dressing up for the Thriller dance class so Gotham Town will be the perfect place to head to after, so you can be sure to fit in with the gothic surroundings! There is a vast amount of drinks on offer in this busy yet friendly pub. So you won’t be disappointed!
